This bill first passed the Texas Senate in April 16th of 2003.  They concurred with House ammendments on May 20th 2003.  The Texas Department of Transportation was given the responsibility of working out most of the details.

On February 24th. there was a Town meeting held at the Port Bolivar School to show plans and photos of their proposal options and to solicit citizen input.  Follow this Link to Crystal Beach.COM website for a summary of the meeting and a link to the actual Bill.

#2 Security Checkpoint - a somewhat random vehicle search that generally gets done in time to board after #1

#3 All others not in group 1 or 2
